DiFilippo Mediation Transparent Cropped.png

As a seasoned trial attorney, Patrick DiFilippo understands the risks and costs of taking a case through litigation. He brings that insight to the mediation table, helping parties realistically evaluate their options and craft practical settlements in cases involving personal injury, employment and business disputes. Patrick is committed to going the extra mile to ensure that each party feels heard and that every mediation session is structured to give disputes the best chance at resolution.

About

Patrick DiFilippo brings more than sixteen years of experience as a trial attorney to his work as a mediator. He began his career defending private and public sector employers before shifting his focus to representing plaintiffs in personal injury, employment, and general business litigation.

This range of experience allows him to see disputes from both sides and provides a practical understanding of the risks, costs, and pressures that come with litigation. He now draws on that perspective as a mediator, helping parties move beyond conflict toward meaningful resolution.

Patrick has completed a 40-hour mediation course with the American Institute of Mediation, where he trained in negotiation strategies and conflict management techniques. He also serves as a volunteer court-appointed mediator.

A graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law, Patrick combines deep legal insight with a human-centered approach to create a fair process where every voice is heard and disputes have the best chance of being resolved.
